Lubec cabin Rental Property Information

This wonderful, comfortable family log cabin, with central heating and gas log fireplace, is situated in down east Maine, in Lubec, the easternmost town in the continental USA. This is a perfect rural/ocean-side vacation spot! We can be reached by car in just over two hours from Bangor International Airport and in four to eight hours from Springfield (MA), Boston (MA), Portland (ME), and Augusta (ME). The cabin is within a quarter mile of the rugged coastal trail head in the 481-acre Quoddy Head State Park and just two miles from the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse. It is only four miles to the bank, post office, grocery shops, restaurants, and the toll-free bridge to Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada, where the Roosevelt Summer Cottage is located. This spacious log cabin sleeps five.. Two large open sleeping lofts (safely-railed); one with king-size Tempur-pedic mattress and the other with 2 single beds, and a half bath.

There are water views of the Lubec Channel, Campobello Island, Carrying Place Cove, Grand Manan Island and Grand Manan Channel from the loft, the living room, and the decks. On the main floor is the large comfortable living room with gas-log fire, the kitchen and dining area, and a full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an outdoor gas grill and lobster steamer for your outdoor cooking convenience. We have Satellite TV, a DVD/VCR player for your own favorite movies; family games, books and puzzles for your indoor entertainment. Or you can relax on the deck to the ebb and flow of the tide and the songs of birds at the feeders and nesting boxes.
