The house is located at Noce. The closest town is called Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (at 3 km), a small centre with many gourmet and grocery stores, supermarkets, banks, shops and bars, as well as good restaurants.
The villa is in one of the best parts of the Chianti region of Tuscany for daily excursions to visit Florence, or to see the famous towers of San Gimignano, the sites of beautiful Siena, the baths of Montecatini, and is a wine aficionados paradise if you want to sample the many excellent varieties of Chianti! It is only 25 minutes south of Florence, making it easy to pop into the city for a day of sightseeing, strolling, shopping or even just for dinner. The nearest towns are San Casciano and Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa. Siena is an easy drive and the famous town of Greve in Chianti is only 11 miles away. You can even make a day trip to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa as it is only a one and a half hour drive away as is the graceful town of Lucca.
