Casita Liebre (meaning Little Hare House) is reached through the original farmyard doors leading onto the courtyard.
Accessed from the private courtyard, the accommodation is based in the oldest part of the reformed cortijo with low beamed ceilings and niches retained from the original building.
The original walls are thick, providing coolness in the summer and retaining warmth in the winter. There is a lounge, with large comfortable Moorish style divan sofas and a log burner for cool winter evenings. There are two ensuite bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. There is seating outside in the courtyard for eating and a barbeque.

Outside there is a large private courtyard planted with jasmine, lavender and herbs, surrounded by traditional high white walls. You are not overlooked by the other casitas. There is outside seating and shade is provided by a large umbrella for hot summer days. A barbeque allows you to make the most of the outside living for which sunny Andalucia is justifiably famous. Although the peaceful situation is ideal for the elderly and infirm, both bedrooms are upstairs and there is a sloped cobbled appraoch to the Cortijo. |
