Six bedrooms and four large reception rooms allow both conviviality and privacy for up to 12 people who will enjoy air-conditioning, satellite TV, WiFi , a large American-style kitchen and a fully-equipped pool house. The villa is particularly well suited for families with its separate floor of children's bedrooms and a playroom. Maid service is provided every second day. The interior is a sympathetic blend of antique furniture, provencal colours and modern fixtures, all set in a house with original character and beamed ceilings.

The medieval walled town of Uzes (8 min) boasts one of the most colourful markets in the region and offers a wealth of shops and restaurants. Five minutes from Vallabrix is Saint-Quentin-La-Poterie, the ceramic capital of Europe, with excellent everyday shopping. The area is steeped in Roman history with the magnificent Pont du Gard 30 minutes away. To the North are the Cevennnes and the Gorges of the Ardeche, a paradise for trekkers and mountain bikers. To the South are the wild horses, salt marshes and beaches of the Carmargue. To the East, beyond historic Avignon, Provence and the Alpilles (Saint Remy, Gordes) beckon, and to the West, the Roman city of Nimes and cosmopolitan Montpellier offer excellent shopping and fine cuisine. The whole region abounds in music, opera and theatre festivals (Avignon, Orange). The Uzes tennis club and 2 riding stables are 10 minutes from the house, and several golf courses are within 45 minutes drive.
