The house is furnished to an extremely high standard with antiques,paintings and beautiful furnishings, aswell as all the modern comforts...fully equipped traditional kitchen,satellite and internet etc.All light filled rooms, high ceilings, oak beams,shuttered windows and exposed thick honey-coloured stone walls.Huge open-plan living room furnished to the highest comforts with doors leading onto one of many terraces.Four large finely furnished bedrooms + ensuite bathrooms and seperate doors leading outside.Sleeps 8-10.
Casteyre is set in 10 acres of private parkland with panoramic views of the most idyllic countryside..valleys,vineyards, woods, sunflower fields,medieval villages, farms and Pyrenees mountains. A stunning cascading saltwater swimming pool is set in the romantic gardens of lavenders,olive trees and flowers...Paradise.

Casteyre is set in the heart of the famously beautiful Gascony countryside of 'La France Profond': An area famous for its tranquility,charm and unpolluted air. Rolling wooded hills,valleys of sunflowers,vineyards, and orchards and the Pyrenee mountains. An area steeped in history,it is near to the ancient fortified Roman town of Lectoure and the Cathedral town of Condom and many other exquisite medieval villages,towns and bastides. It is an area for gastronomy and culture. Numerous markets selling local produce from foie gras,honey,prunes,melons,garlic,wine and the well known armagnac. There is so much to do and explore :Romantic villages, numerous chateaux,abbeys,markets,fetes, superb restaurants/bars,wine/armagnc and floc tasting,horse riding,riverrafting,Jazz in Marciac,flower festivals,walking,bull fighting,Biaritz beach or mountain hiking or skiing just 2 hours away,cycling,golf,tennis...or simply just sitting by the luxury pool set in a glorious park with stunning views...bliss!

- As you will discover the rental rates above are extremely competitive and good value for the amount of accommodation, luxury and size of this beautiful house. I have kept the currency in sterling in order to make life easier and to cope with the fluctuating exchange rates. Based on 12 people occupancy staying at 'Casteyre' will cost you as low as between £12 and £16 per person per day, depending on the season. It is therefore ideal for families or say, several couples with children who want to share and enjoy time together in this special place. Come and see for yourself, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed and Casteyre will become a firm favourite as it is now with many past guests who return frequently. I can guarantee you will love it!
- I give a 20% discount on the 3rd or subsequent week in any given period. I also give a 10% discount on the second week in the May, June and September Months. For longer term rental please contact the owner and I am sure rates can be negotiated according to requirements and details.
- A non refundable payment of 25% of the full rental price is required as a deposit. A letter will confirm your booking. The balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. A refundable security/damage deposit of £400 per week is required along with your final payment. Please do not be concerned about this...I have never had cause to use this so far! I will send you details and maps of how to get to Casteyre and any other information you might require within 3 weeks of your departure. Please do not hesitate to ask and more details of required on the contact numbers given.

- All four bathrooms are furnished to a high luxury standard...all sanitary ware of top quality. Each bathroom is decorated in the colours to match the four bedrooms...green, pink, yellow and blue. The showers are very large and made with antiques tiles, easily accessible and with superb power showers. Cupboards, drawers and lots of room for possessions and huge mirrors and lots of lighting.

- All four bedrooms are large, oak beamed, high ceilings, sunny and sumptuously decorated with beautiful rugs and curtains and original antique s and fabulous paintings. They are all decorated in individual colours of pale green, raspberry pink, buff yellow and soft blue and all have beautiful matching en-suite bathrooms with power showers. No expense has been spared. The mattresses are top quality and the linen truly luxurious. Each room has separate French doors leading outside to enable private access and independence.
Two top quality folding extra beds for children are available, and also a cot and high chair. If any more required please ask.
The house can sleep 8 to 10 people comfortably + any babies.

A traditional Gascon farmhouse which has been cleverly transformed into a single spacious, sun-filled 4 bedroom home, all on ground level,combining rustic character with the luxuries of modern comforts. It enjoys panoramic views over idyllic Gascon countryside. With its thick honey-coloured stone walls,it stays cool in the Summer, and warm and cosy in Winter.
Decorated and furnished to the highest standards with no expense spared. There is a large hall way, leading into a huge family room adorned with antiques and fine furnishings… with a large living room area, dining area, satellite TV/stereo area and desk with internet access. The bright traditional-style kitchen is fully modernised and lacks nothing for any fine cooking! Bone china dinner service and espresso coffee machine of course. Horse riding at Casteyre Also available at Casteyre is the possibility to go on wonderful rides on one of our 5 very gentle horses. These rides are accompanied by a professional rider and only for guests with some equestrian experience...adults or children (above 10 years) welcome.
Enjoy a gentle stroll on horse back through the stunning Gers countryside.....for a few hours or a whole day with a picnic lunch included. Its an amazing experience!
