Lucca farmhouse Rental Property Information

The area where our summer holiday villa is located is really spectacular. It is situated at a top of a hill with 360 degrees view on the walled town of Lucca, the typical rolling slopes of Tuscany, the Apuane Alps, the green valleys below, with sights up to the Mediterranean sea and the Tuscan islands. It was a true farmhouse producing excellent red and white wines, and still now, after the full renovation of the house, wine and oive oil are produced by our farmers and they are available for sale at special prices to our guests. The tastefully renovation has kept intact the stone-facade, the antique cotto floor and the old beaming celings. Two grapes pergolas refine the beauty of this house: from the salon and the dining room you have access to the front pergola and from the kitchen you may easily go to the side pergola, with natural green shadow, ideal for al fresco meal in summer time. The pool is 14X7mt and is located in a upper terrace with spectacular views!

From the house you can walk safe for hours through lovely paths in the hills, amidst vineyards. Olive groves, old wood, crossing small hamlets, old churches ancient castles. There is also the possibility to have a trekking guide and have organized the return to the house with our van. Lucca, its shops and restaurants is at 15 min.The beach of Forte dei Marmi is within a 30 min drive. Many good restaurants are at a short distance from the property.

The house consists of two floors. The ground flloor has: 1. Hall/salon with a fireplace, sofas and seating for up to 10 persons. 2. A studio corner with table and chair 3. The dining room, with a table and chairs for up to 10 persons, There is a glass door in this room opening onto a grape pergola for outside seating with a table and chairs for up to 10 persons. 4. The kitchen, fully equipped, with a table and chairs for up 10 persons. From here there is access to the most lovely part of the house, the outside side-pergola, covered of grpes in summer nad idela for meal 'al fresco' The first floor has 5 bedrooms: 2 master bedrooms and 3 twin bedroom, all with private bathrooms ensuite The house is fully airconditioning and is equipped with a WiFi broad band internet access.

There are wonderful opportunities for sightseeing In this spectacular region. A short drive will take to Pisa, Florence, Volterra and all the most famous Tuscan towns and villages. In the area there are several good ‘trattoria’ and restaurants. Our Staff, a pro-Cook for exclusive meals ‘at home’ and two girls for baby-sitter service as well as a private chauffeur are available on request.

Special car rental rates with the possibility of Pick-up at the airport and drive to your property. Excursion to our own Winery in the Chianti area producing excellent wines with visit to the vineyards, the wine cellar and final wine-tastings with the owners. Possibility of guided tours of the town of Lucca, its villas, and special tours in the countryside. Possibility to play golf in four courses at a distance of 25 up to 40 min. drive. Chauffeur with a 8 seats bus available for special tours in the region Access to a private beach club on request. Individual tours: - to discover the ' Cinque Terre' by our 20mt long sailboat. - guided biking tours through the Tuscan countryside.
