It is surrounded by rolling hills and overlooks the valley below and the medieval towers of San Gimignano can be seen in the distance. The villa has a number of terraced patios that lead down to a large pool with separate hydro massage section. Each terrace is furnished with high quality garden furniture including a hammock and swing chair. You are spoilt for choice where to sit and relax whilst enjoying a glass of the local wine admiring the views across to San Gimignano. The main house has 5 well presented bedrooms, the 6th bedroom is found within a converted self contained barn on the grounds. This villa is very spacious and extremely well looked after, offering high quality accommodation in a fantastic location in the heart of Chianti in Tuscany.

Villa Sornano is found in the heart of the Chianti region midway between Siena and Florence, both within 40 minutes drive. The beautiful town San Gimignano is just 7 miles away. There is a main train station in the local town, from where you can travel to Pisa, Rome plus the main Tuscany cities. Montevarchi is just 30 minutes drive where all the famous designers have the retail outlets, including Gucci, Prada. Locally there are magnificent balloon rides across the countryside, mountain cycling, horse riding and of course wine tasting. So if you can tear yourself away from the luxury of your villa there is plenty to see and do.
