This charming 3 bedroom apartment in a building from the fifties, completely renovated last year, offers you excellent accommodation right in the center of Lisbon, in a residential area within 15mn walk to 'Baixa' (the old city). The apartment has 3 large bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It's located on the 3rd floor (the building has an elevator) on a lively street full of small shops, and overlooking the trees. Very close to the nearest underground station and to a number of buses, you will find it easy to visit any part of Lisbon, either by walking or public transport. The apartment has nice wooden floors from the 50's (renovated), large windows opening onto 2 sunny balconies (with tables and chairs outside, to enjoy in good weather), and is decorated in a simple and comfortable style, mixing period furniture and modern pieces, with some paintings by young Portuguese artists on the walls. It's a good place to relax after a day in town!

In Lisbon you will enjoy an intense cultural life (museums, architecture, exhibitions, classical, rock and jazz music concerts but also little 'fado' houses); a wide variety of restaurants, from the small 'tasca' next door to the big modern style restaurants on the riverside (the famous traditional 'Cervejaria Portugália' is only 3mn walk away); theatre, cinema (original language with Portuguese subtitles), nightlife. The shopping is excellent. You can walk around the town center, or drive to one of the nearby beaches or golf courses. Less than 20km away you will find many beaches: Caparica (south of the Tagus), a 20km continuous stretch of sand, and Guincho (near Cascais), world famous for surfing and wind-surfing. Golf players will find a dozen golf courses within a 30 minute drive, on both sides of the Tagus.
