Wonderful self-catering apartment, located in an 18th century building, in the heart of Paris, just one block off Notre-Dame Basilica and the river Seine, close to the Louvre and other museums.
The apartment has lots of charm, with all the amenities of a modern apartment in an Old World setting. It is warm, inviting and very functional, with its antique furnishings, a modern kitchen & bath, and a lovely planter terrace where you can have morning coffee or evening cocktails.
The living room has a new Queen-size sofa-bed with genuine Simmons mattress, an antique dining table and armoire with TV, stereo and DVD player. The bedroom features a wood beamed ceiling, a beautifully dressed double bed, divider curtain, pine armoire, and several oriental carpets. The marble bathroom is just off the bedroom.
The kitchen features new cabinets with a granite top, electric stove and full sized traditional oven, microwave oven, fridge, a combination washing machine / dryer, and a dishwasher.

Stay at the heart of Paris ! The apartment is on the very chic and posh Ile Saint-Louis, on the river Seine and next to Ile de la Cité and the Notre-Dame Basilica. You can walk through the heart of the city, to all the museums, including Louvre and Pompidou / Beaubourg. Walk on the right bank through the Marais, to place des Vosges, or through the Tuileries, to Place de la Concorde and les Champs Elysées, up to l'Arc de Triomphe. Or stroll on the Left bank through the Latin Quarter, Jardins du Luxembourg, Saint-Germain des Prés, Les Invalides and the Eifel Tower. If you get tired of walking, why not hop on a cruise or 'bateau-bus' (boat bus) on the river Seine and return back to the comfort of your island apartment. The nearest Metro is Pont-Marie, but several other stations are also nearby. Ile Saint-Louis is an upscale neighbourhood, the most prestigious in Paris, where you will beautiful shops and services, including bakery, butcher, food stores and restaurants.
