Location
This villa is located just outside the medieval town of Cevoli, a lovely part of Tuscany where the nobles from Pisa once had their country estates and villas. In Cevoli, which is within walking distance, you will find shops, a bank, post office, and a supermarket. This area is also very convenient for touring the rest of Tuscany: the highway is just ten minutes away, and is close to the "Fi-Pi-Li" autostrada. To the north is Pisa-- known, of course, for its famous leaning tower. Next to the tower there is also the gorgeous Cathedral of Pisa, completed in 1350. Of course, the tower isn't the only thing in town. Poetry lovers will want to visit Shelley's house and Lord Byron's palace (now the City Archive). There is also a medieval town, the house of Galileo, and countless restaurants, cafes, and... gelato!

Exterior Description
This villa was once part of a large country estate belonging to a count. It is a characteristic Tuscan villa that reflects its roots in every detail: vaulted ceilings, frescoed rooms, a grand salon, and antique furniture throughout. The entire villa has been renovated, and there is an elevator from the ground floor to the second floor. The villa is surrounded by a lovely walled garden where you can dine "al fresco" while enjoying a glass of local wine. The private swimming pool (10m x 4m) has its own hydro-massage and is surrounded by sun lounges and umbrellas. There is also a large terrace accessed from the front of the house and the kitchen. It is equipped with a large gazebo with dining table and chairs. The caretaker of the villa is a very good cook and can prepare traditional Tuscan meals upon request. There is plenty of room for parking outside.
Interior Description
(600 m2) Ground Floor: An elegant vaulted entrance leads into a large living room with a grand piano, a huge 16th century fireplace, and ample seating. There is also an elegant dining room with a long table and two round tables for seating up to 18 guests. There is also another smaller, frescoed living room with a fireplace and satellite TV. All of these rooms have French doors opening onto the garden. A large, traditional-style kitchen with a marble-top table opens onto a side terrace with outdoor seating. It is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, American coffee maker, and a toaster. This floor also has a laundry room with a washing machine and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
First Floor: An imposing stone staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a central salon with vaulted ceilings opening onto the billiard room. There are also four bedrooms on this floor. The first and second rooms each have a 160 cm queen-size bed and en suite bathrooms with sink, toilet, and shower. The third bedroom has a 160 cm queen-size bed. The fourth bedroom has two single beds and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The third bedroom has use of a large bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, and a tub with a handheld showerhead.
Second Floor: On the top floor, there is yet another large living room with plenty of room to relax. There are four bedrooms on this floor, each one with a 160 cm queen-size bed, air conditioning, and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Loft: An extra single bed is located in the open loft on the top floor. Via a low-ceiling doorway, there is access from the loft to a wooden stairway that leads up to a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. This bedroom is only appropriate for a young adult.
