MAINS OF TAYMOUTH RIDING STABLES Make some magical memories amongst some of the mose beautiful scenery in Scotland at Mains of Taymouth Riding Stables. Situated on site, Taymouth Stables cater for the unexperienced to the experienced offering 30 min rides to 2 hours. We have a first calss qualified Instructor who can give private or group lessons. Children and adults welcome ( minimum age 4 years, maximum weight 15 stone)

THE COURTYARD BAR, RESTAURANT AND DELICATESSEN A stone's throw from Loch Tay and just down the lane from your cottage, The Courtyard is a stunning brasserie and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in lovely surroundings. The lounge bar has a focal point log fire, comfy leather settees and a nice ambiance to enjoy a quiet drink, a light snack or a full dinner. Next door is The Courtyard delicatessen and gift shop, extensively stocked with everything from exquisite gifts to day-to-day essentials.

LOCH TAY AND RIVER TAY Loch Tay is on our doorstep and as well as providing a beautiful backdrop, it also gives you the opportunity to enjoy the huge range of water-borne activities including canoeing, kayaking, sailing, pleasure cruising, fishing. The River Tay is famous for its salmon and wild brown trout fishing with permits readily available and easy access from your cottage. For the more adventurous, the River Tay offers whitewater rafting, canyoning and other adrenalin sports.

Skiing Information: The major Scottish ski areas of Glencoe, Glenshee, Aviemore, Aonach Mhor and the Lecht are all within easy driving distance of Kenmore.

Golf Information: KENMORE GOLF COURSE 'Perthshire's finest nine holes' is on your doorstep and guests enjoy discounted rates and free winter golf. The course is a wonderful test of golf, always kept in excellent condition with first class greens. Par 70 and 6,052 yards makes it a real challenge. Magnificent scenery and many other fine golf courses within easy reach, including Taymouth Castle and Gleneagles.
