Luxury, Style and Entertainment! Finished with no expense spared it has wonderfully comfortable rooms, and two common areas, so you can sequester the children into the upstairs TV room while you enjoy sipping your hot wine around the log fire. A brand new hot tub is on the terrace outside, allowing you to sit in bubbling warmth while the snow falls around you, and a steam room is inside to soothe your muscles after a long day skiing. Chalet Julien has five themed bedrooms. The three rooms on the top floor feature en-suite bathrooms, two with full sized baths and one with a shower. The Red room also has a mezzanine level above it, with two additional single beds - perfect for a family. The two rooms on the main floor have their own bathrooms adjoining. All the rooms except the Green Room feature 'zip-together' double beds that can be easily separated into two separate single beds if required.

Local Area Information A traditional market town in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is dominated by attractive chalets spread across a river gorge, bordered by partially wooded slopes allowing skiing in poor weather conditions. Morzine, at 1000m, is the most northerly of the French Alpine resorts (with the exception of the areas of La Grande Terche at St. Jean D'Aulps and Mont Drouzin), and weather wise benefits from the Mont Blanc microclimate. Summer sports - The resort also has a bustling summer timetable including mountain biking, golf, walking and caving amongst others. It is rumoured that total number of visitors is actually greater in the summer season. The municipal swimming pool is Olympic size and caters for the bustling tourist flock, but it immaculately maintained.

Skiing Information: Morzine-Avoriaz is known as the centre of the local ski area, and is 3 minutes away by bus in season. Avoriaz and Les Get are easy to access as well. Morzine features restaurants and bars beyond count, and numerous high quality shopping areas. In winter it features an Olympic Skating rink as well. But it's main attraction is that it is a central and busy hub of the Porte Du Soleil skiing region. The Porte-du-Soleil is the largest ski area in the world, featuring 650km of piste and considered to be superior to both Chamonix and the 3-Valleys.
