Lucca farmhouse Rental Property Information

This family friendly Tuscany farmhouse with private pool is a restored property dating from 1886. Great care has been taken to maintain the original charm and atmosphere of the farmhouse - collections of pots, Tuscan farming tools, terracotta pots, jugs and hand-woven fabrics can be found throughout. All the rooms are decorated with colourful fabrics and country furniture, creating a warm and inviting feel. The ground floor rooms open onto the large garden. The space outside is vast, with an abundance of flowers, fruit trees, olive trees and vineyards - it is easy to find a shaded corner to relax in! Grounds are fully enclosed, making it perfect for children.

The small village of Filetole is just a five minute walk with a pizzeria, restaurant, trattoria and a few bars from this Tuscany villa. It is also home to an annual cooking contest in August, where the local village prepare dishes from old family recipes, always good fun! Good trattoria and restaurants nearby. Grocery shop - 5 min walk into Filetole village. Lucca 12 km, Pisa 14 km and the beach 20 mins, Forte dei Marmi 30 min (also nearest golf)and Michelangelo marble caves 1 hr, 'Cinque Terre' 1 hr, Portofino 1 hr 30 min, Pietrasanta 'artist town' 30 min, Florence 1hr, San Gimignano 1hr 30 min, Siena 2hrs.
