Large villa near Siena - recently restored to a very high level, Casanova is decorated in an attractive country house style, in the Val d' Orcia in the south eastern part of Tuscany. The property comfortably sleeps sixteen and has elegantly furnished living areas and period antiques, with good views across the surrounding valley. The property has typical Tuscan charm, with either beamed or vaulted ceilings and tiled floors. There is a winter garden with a billiard table available located in a light, airy room. The property is comprised of a main house and an annexe containing two ensuite bedrooms. This large villa near Siena is of an exceptional standard and is highly recommended.

The location is ideal for visiting many of the delightful towns and villages of the region, including Pienza in ten minutes or Montepulciano in just fifteen. For trips slightly further afield, easy day trips can be made into neighbouring Umbria, while classic Tuscan cities like Siena are under one hours driving distance. Monticchiello (4 kms for nearest restaurant/bar), Pienza 6 kms (wider selection of restaurants, grocers etc), Montepulciano 15 mins, Montalcino, Siena (45 min), Perugia, Orvieto, Cortona all about 1 hr, Florence 1hr 30 min, Rome 2 hrs 15min airports: Pisa 2hrs 40 min, Florence 1hr 30 min, Rome 2hr 15 min. Possible airports: Ancona 3 hrs.
