Interstate 75 and US 41 are the major routes into the area. Coming from the north you can reach Longboat Key through Bradenton by way of exit #41 off Interstate 75. When traveling from the south use Exit #39 west to US 41. Stretching eleven miles between the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay, Longboat Key provides an ideal beach and bay front setting.
