The nearby local village of Plan De La Tour (2 km) has all the necessary shopping facilities and restaurants. The sea is 10 mins away at St. Maxime and St. Tropez is 25 mins away. Having recently undergone extensive refurbishment commissioned by it's new owners; Villa Les Oliviers features all new bathrooms, new kitchen and new mezzanine. There are 3 double bedrooms, one ensuite shower, all with private terraces overlooking garden. Large living room, dining area. All newly furnished. Large bathroom and separate shower room. 2 wc’s. New kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. Living area has CD, TV, DVD, Broadband and i-pod Dock. A short picturesque walk away via local vineyards is the beautiful village of Plan De La Tour, full of French charm, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, bars, shops with local produce, two wine caves, and Thursdays weekly market. To get a real feel for the ambiance and tranquility of this well know little village see both clips on You Tube, just enter key word search Plan De La Tour, they’re the clips headed 'A Touch of Paradise'. Part One actually features the vineyard where Les Oliviers is located: to the right of the author’s villa. Many beaches are accessible from Plan De La Tour, there’s St. Maxime, Port Grimaud and at St. Tropez the famous Pampelonne beaches accessed via country roads away from the sometimes busy main coastal highway. The area itself is full of local attraction and adventure; at St. Maxime take 'Les Bateaux Verts' as an alternative and novel way to hop across the Gulf by water to shop and dine at St. Tropez. (At peak they’re every 20 mins both ways).

Notes:

Les Oliviers has been lovingly restored by its current owners both inside and out. A new drive now winds round the property up to a turning circle at the rear of the villa with direct access to the kitchen for your groceries. There is plenty of secure parking within the 3300m grounds. The grounds themselves are well stocked with local flora and fauna and offer plenty of opportunity for children to play within the secure boundaries of this entirely private detached property. The immediate vineyard is also accessible for beautiful walks into Plan De La Tour. Pre arrival requirements such as meals and shopping are available by arrangement. In keeping with the high quality restoration and quality furnishings the Villa also features; wireless broadband, Bang and Olufsen TV, Sony DVD, i-pod Docking Station and Sky TV (Family Package).

Further Facilities at Les Oliviers. DVD library featuring recent releases and children’s classics. Book library with a wide selection of novels, local guides, French dictionaries and cook books. Children’s Games library with a selection of children’s games. A detailed guide has been created by the Owners recounting personal experiences at local restaurants, hotels, beach clubs etc all with contacts details and web links where applicable. The guide also features a full list of all local facilities and their contact numbers, details of all local village market days, supermarkets, children’s attractions and other useful information. In addition there is a box of local pamphlets / literature and previous guests have been encouraged to sign the guest book with their recommendations. Les Oliviers is professionally managed by Caretakers who are employed by the owners and are available to give advice on local facilities. The gardens are tended weekly and the pool daily. The hamlet's residents are also very accomodating

Local Facilities & Local Beaches. Golf: @ St. Maxime is only 5k away for the nearest 18 hole course. There’s an old established course at Beauvallon on the coast road between St Maxime and Grimaud. Two 18 hole courses at St.Raphael 30k. Championship course at St. Andreol, La Motte 25k. New 18 hole course at Gassin 10k, opened 2005. There are other courses about an hours drive near Cannes at Royal Mougin / Mandelieu / Valbonne etc. Mini-Golf: @ St.Tropez. Riding: @ Cavalaire. Great rides along the beach and through the surrounding vineyards. Highly recommended, though not for beginners. Go Karting @ Grimaud. Casino: @ St. Maxime. Boats: @ St. Maxime:There are many opportunities to charter variety of sailing / motor boats Skiing @ Isola 2000. And finally, most importantly, the wealth of beautiful beaches spread across the Cote d'Azur. Very near to Les Oliviers (just 5km ) there are over 6km of sandy beaches at St. Maxime and then there are the famous beaches at St.Tropez ; Tahiti & Pampelonne beaches.
