The entry courtyard with its bubbling fountain, colorful bougainvillea, banana and palm trees welcomes you to Cielo - a relaxing and very private hideaway set high on a hillside with spectacular views of Cane Garden Bay, St. John, St. Thomas and green islets beyond. Three pavilions offer spacious and informal seclusion. One of the poolside pavilions houses the large Great Room with bamboo blinds and a curved sofa adorned in bright fabrics, and connects to the very well-equipped kitchen via a cool lanai set for alfresco dining. Just outside the Great Room is a covered area overlooking the coral stone -tiled pool courtyard, edged by trees and flowering tropical plants, perfect for gathering for a sunset cocktail. Completing this pavilion is the Palm Suite, a two-story retreat with a sitting room (the sitting room has a double-trundle bed) on the main level, and two staircases which lead to its very private queen bedroom/bath suite below with its own sun deck and double hammock. Cielos' main pavilion offers the Calypso Suite, an air-conditioned poolside king (or double-twin) bedroom/bath suite. On the upper level are two more king bedroom/bath suites (the Oasis Suite and Bougainvillea Suite)...one of these breezy king suites features its own step-out balcony and the other's balcony offers fabulous ocean views. The third pavilion, Coral Cottage, houses an air-conditioned queen suite featuring its own secluded patio for private sunbathing and an enticing alfresco shower looking out to stunning ocean views. Artfully designed to provide both togetherness and seclusion, this serene villa with flower-laden gardens, native stonework, colorful tiles and gingerbread trim blends its bright, light and easygoing aura with constant cool breezes and wonderful sea views to provide a special ambience for families and friends seeking a most special Caribbean experience. Rental Notes: With advance notice, we can easily arrange to have Cielo stocked for your arrival with your requested groceries (a great service if you are traveling with children), OR you may hire an accomplished chef for a special dinner or more meals if you wish. Massage, spa + beauty treatments can also be arranged for you at the villa...please inquire. Cell Phone available with a $50 refundable security deposit (your $50 deposit is payable in cash on arrival at Cielo; all unused minutes + your $50 deposit will be refunded to you when you turn the BVI cell phone back into Cielo's island manager upon departure). This house sleeps 10 people in a 5 bedroom, an 11th and 12th person can be accommodated in the Palm Suites sitting room on a queen sofabed. The cost is an additional $50 per person, per night.
