The house is in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, five minutes from the mediieval village of Sangemini, just over an hour from Rome. All the major attractions of Umbria and Tuscany are within easy reach. Assisi, Spoletto, Amelia, Orvietto, Todi. Gubbio are all within half an hour with Siena, Florence and Rome an easy day trip. Visit the Coliseum, Vatican and Tivoli Gardens and be home for a swim by mid-afternoon.

Skiing Information: Rieti, just 45 mins from the house, is the favoured ski resort of Romes winter sports fans.

Golf Information: There is a 9 hole golf course at Acquasparta, 10 minutes drive from the house.

Guest Book We loved the house and immediately felt at home in it, not least because so much thought had gone into ensuring all potential needs were catered for. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped holiday property. The location was very peaceful and we were disturbed by no one. Beverly Hipkin, West Sussex Second time at Casanova - relaxing as ever and was good to be arriving somewhere where we knew would be instantly at home. The new lounge made a huge difference. We almost camped out on the loggia and the table football sparked some intensive competitions. Mark Hollister, Wallingford. We absolutely loved it. Three generations of our family were there and each found great pleasure. We loved the pool. We ate all our meals outside on the loggia looking at the surrounding farms.
