The apartment has been renovated and styled for the pleasure and comfort of the guest. It is a beautiful penthouse fully furnished and recently refurbished (54 sq m). The kitchen is open style and the table and chairs mean guests can enjoy a meal should they wish to cook.... there is a great sofa in the living area for relaxing and chilling out.. and from here the guest can access the terrace of the apartment. It has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and cellar. It contains fridge, microwave, washing machine, TV, stereo, DVD (fully equipped) air conditioned, heater and internet. It is very lightly and sunny, in a very calm area. Next to the bus stop, very close to metro station It is a real treat for the visitor to Barcelona; It has a great terrace where the guest can enjoy the warm Barcelona temperatures... this apartment is on the FOURTH floor with NO elevator

The Eixample is indeed an extension to the city that benefits greatly from its ingenious urban planning at the hands of Catalan engineer Cerdes in the 1850s. Cerdes had a fondness for straight lines and the whole area is set out in a grid with each block having an inner courtyard. This means that it is hard to get lost in Eixample, and moreover, easy to find places. Nowadays Eixample is famous for being home to the majority of Barcelona’s art nouveau masterpieces, and a high-class residential and shopping area. Here you will find La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, two of Gaudi´s characteristically dreamlike buildings. Eixample is a safe and residential part of the city but there is also a vibrant nightlife and a thriving café culture. Eixample is a beautiful barrio to wander round, take in the glorious architecture and people-watch from one of the many terrace cafes. Transport is good. However the area is very central and most other parts of the city are within walking distance.

It is one of the modernist must Modernist route http://www.tmb.net/en_US/turistes/rutesinteres/rutamodernisme.jsp The apartment is very close to Sant Pau Hospital, probably the most beautiful modernist complex in Barcelona and the most magnificent buildings by the modernist architect Lluís Doménech i Montaner Metros: Line 1 (Blue line) Hospital Sant Pau or Camp de l'Arpa open all night is weekends. 1 metro station to Sagrada Familia, 3 to Diagonal/city center Bus 15, 19, 20, 41, 47, 50, 51 (all to the city touristic center) and night buses N1 and N4 Taxi to the city touristic center is about 7-10 Euros
Parties I You are expected to respect the house rules that pertain to the apartment and the community it belongs to. The apartment may not be used as a party space Please don’t throw cigarette butts down into the street, patios or the neighbours´ balconies. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Please respect our neighbours. They are normal working people who need to get up early and go to work every day so please respect the noise levels in the stairwells as well as in the apartments. Parties are not allowed Parties are not allowed and the same applies to loud music. The client signing the check in form will be liable for the correct and decent behavior of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, the owner shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right for the latter to claim any type of compensation
Parties II Please observe that owner’s Terms and Conditions with regard to disturbances, loud music and parties are very clear: ALL ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Guests should know that if parties or loud music are heard, or neighbors complain and/or police are called, it can result in immediate eviction regardless of the time of day or night. This will also result in loss of prepaid rent and refundable damage deposit. Also note that by booking the apartment you have already accepted our terms and conditions and will therefore be expected to abide by these rules. You will also be expected to sign these rules upon check-in on your arrival day. We appreciate your collaboration in this matter and hope you understand that these rules are necessary as these apartments are all situated in residential buildings and the nightly rest of other inhabitants must be respected.
