Hinton Lodge is a detached rural cottage situated on a small rise in the middle of a picturesque valley. It overlooks beautiful views of fields leading to Salisbury Plain. Although it offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, it is conveniently situated within easy distance of nice local pubs, restaurants, shops, etc. and is ideally situated to discover many places of interest such as the ancient sites of Stonehenge and Avebury, Longleat House and Safari Park, the cities of Bath and Salisbury, and many more...

Stonehenge was built 4000 years ago and its great stones still exert mystical fascination on thousands of visitors from all over the world every year. The slightly less well known but nonetheless fascinating stone circle site of Avebury offers an equally exciting atmosphere. Bath - (within 30 mins), one of the most beautiful cities in Britain with its famous Roman baths, its very attractive Royal Crescent, etc., as well as its great shopping and restaurants. Salisbury - (40 mins drive). beautiful cathedral, great shops, etc. Longleat House, gardens, safari and children attractions provides a fantastic day out for the whole family. Children can't get enough of it! Many more lovely places such as Bradford-on-Avon (great antique shops), Devizes (its many famous canal locks), Lacock,Castle Coombe, Marlborough.
