All year round accommodation for upto nine people in four bed centrally heated house with 8m x 3 m private pool on a 300 sqm plot on the edge of quaint french regional town. This recently refurbished house has all up to date facilities including BBQ and sun beds. Ideal for families. Lounge with wood burning stove, fully fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, separate utility room with automatic washer and dryer. Four bedrooms: master bedroom with king-size; one twin/double bedroom; triple room with bunks; and ground floor single. One bathroom is on the ground floor making the property suitable for those who need avoid stairs. Dining table, chairs and lounge area for 8 people. Satellite TV, DVD and CD. Cot, highchair, door/stair-gate and child’s playpen available if required. Bedding, bath towels and beach towels included. Close to amenities including rafting, canoeing, horse riding, supermarket, cafes and restaurants

Quillan is on the banks of the Aude on the edge of the Pyrennes making it easily accessible to ski areas (including Camurac, Ax les Thermes) and mountain lakes. It is also within 50 miles of Mediterranean beaches. Several Cathar fortresses and chateux are within easy reach as is the medieval citadel of Carcassonne. Quillan has a weekly typical french market, three supermarkets, banks, a cinema and several cafes and restaurants all within walking distance of the house. The town comes to life in July and August when you can experience regular musical and theatrical evenings outside in the local squares and the fairground comes to town. There is a children's playground, a couple of bouladromes and tourist information all in the town and within walking distance. Quillan also has a railway station with trains to Carcassonne and the mountains. The activities available in the area include:horse riding; rafting; canoeing; hill walking; golf; tennis and cycling.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% will reserve the property. The balance is due 6 weeks in advance of arrival date. The price quoted above is the weekly rental rate for the villa with a maximum occupancy of 9 persons, all guests must be named on booking. Payment will be accepted by UK cheque or bank transfer, or Eurobank transfer. There is a breakage deposit of £200 payable with the final balance that will be refunded when the property has been inspected and cleaned, within 14 days of departure. The prices quoted include the provision of bed linen, bath towels and beach towels. For stays of 2 weeks or more, the price includes a change of bed linen and towels on a weekly basis, every FRIDAY. Changeover day is Saturday with a check out time of 10.00am and check-in after 16.00. Additional cleaning, babysitting or further services may be available locally upon request.
    Please note that we provide bedding and towels ONLY for those guests named at the point of booking.
