1 km from Castel del Piano: Il Palazzo di Bagnaia is an old country residence dating from the 17th century. It lies only 10 km from Perugia and 1 km from Castel del Piano, on the outskirts of the little village of Bagnaia, in well kept grounds with a communal swimming pool. There are various properties for rent within the residence. Il Palazzo is on the 2nd floor of the villa (where the owners also live); the second property, Casa di Scoccia, has been created in one of the old farm buildings in the grounds. Inside the gardens, close to Casa di Scoccia, there is a totally renovated t-shape farm building maintaining its original features which has a further two apartments with independant entrances and own outdoor areas (Casa di Puppola and Casa di Romani). In the garden there are sitting areas with barbecue. Bagnaia lies about 10 kms from Lake Trasimeno. Siena is just 1 hour's drive away and both Florence and Rome can be reached in 2 hours drive.
