This charming, simple 18th century, stone building nestles up against the elegant gateway to the park of La Maison du Chateau. There is a hint of magic as you approach the gateway up the cul-de-sac with its houses with balconies overflowing with geraniums and honeysuckle. The house itself is simple and on one level. It has been charmingly furnished. The large living room/kitchen has its original flagstone floor and a very efficient log burning stove. There is a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, an electric fridge/freezer and a cooker. There is space for you to park your car beside the house which you enter by the garden door. It is a large secluded garden with a barbecue area and a gateway through to some steps down to a wooded path leading to the river where there is a dinghy for your use. Garden furniture is also provided. The Gate House is completely independent of the Main House and unless let with the Main House does not have access to the park or heated pool.
