Denia villa Rental Property Information
Looking for something quite different? Buscarro is an exceptional property in a fabulous location just outside Denia town. It has a lovely secluded setting, being surrounded by orange groves, yet is very close to the area's best sandy beaches, bars and excellent restaurants. The extensive private tropical gardens and unusually-designed boomerang-shaped pool create an environment found in few other rental properties. Within the grounds there are various open and shady terraces for daytime lounging, rooftop terrace for evening cocktails, lawns, orange/lemon grove, almond/pomegranate/olive/fig and other fruit trees, colourful bougainvillea and many palm trees of different types. Cacti and other succulents abound. The views across to the mountains are spectacular. Most visitors find it hard to tear themselves away whilst staying here!

Denia is a beautiful typically Spanish coastal town situated between Valencia and Alicante, and is made picturesque by its setting at the base of Montgo mountain, with its own 'ramblas' style main street, castle and quaint old town opposite the harbour. In contrast to much of Spain, the area has a green feel to it due to the orange groves that surround the town. Frequently quoted as having the most ideal climate in Europe, with pleasant cool breezes during Summer afternoons, it has a thriving fishing port, offers boat trips along the coast and daily ferries to Ibiza/Majorca. During summer evenings the harbour area restaurants buzz and there is a nightly street market. There are many excellent quality shops and some of the best of the area's hundreds of restaurants are at the new marina. One of the joys all year round is taking a long stroll up the beach towards Denia harbour. The golden sandy beach retains an unspoilt nature, is ideal for small children, and sunsets can be spectacular.

- Rental prices include electricity, water, heating, bedding and bed linen, towels (except pool/beach towels) and all the normally required crockery/pans/glasses/cutlery etc for dining and for the kitchen. We also supply some tea/coffee/sugar/milk/water/condiments/cleaning products to help new arrivals get started. The owner pays for the pool and garden to be maintained weekly. Cheap airlines' flight prices are significantly higher at weekends. Consequently most of our guests, particularly those returning for a second or third time, request midweek to midweek rentals. Most of our bookings are therefore for midweek arrivals, but we are completely flexible.
- A 25% deposit is payable to secure the reservation, with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival, together with a refundable 500 euros damages deposit. Renters are responsible for organising their own personal travel insurance to cover cancellation, injury, loss, damage etc. Renters cannot re-let or sublet to any other party. Any extra days to weekly hires are charged pro-rata prevailing weekly rates.
- Departure time is normally 10.00am and arrival time 16.00pm to allow for cleaning, washing and preparation for new arrivals. To cover these costs there is an end-of-rental cleaning/washing charge of 90 euros for El Buscarro, 70 euros for the Casita and 30 euros for the studio. Winter heating fuel is charged as used, however special rental rates are available for longer lets in low season......email for details. We can arrange a welcome pack of shopping for late arrivals on request.

| Notes: | El Buscarro and the Casita both offer self-contained facilities on one level. Each has lounge with beamed ceiling (with sofas/TV/DVD/CD/MP3 port), large kitchen and dining areas indoor and outdoor (incl. awnings). El Buscarro's kitchen and bathrooms are brand new. The studio has a small kitchenette. Spacious Spanish character has been retained throughout, with stone features, traditional wooden doors and beams. Winter lets can have log fires in the main house. There are various terraces outside the properties and around the pool, providing both sunny and shady outdoor dining, relaxation areas and sunbathing. There is a poolside shower and a large freestanding traditional Spanish BBQ complete with stone/marble table and chairs. We request smoking outside. We have bicycles which we can loan our guests by advanced request. High chair and cots can be arranged by advanced request. We include iron/board, games/books, pool/beach toys and outside sunbeds/chairs/parasols for our guests' use. |

Out and about There is a comprehensive manual at the property covering everything you need to know for your stay. We've devoted a section to getting out-and-about in the area. Take a leisurely trip to the Jalon Valley and stop for lunch at one of the many Spanish villages, or visit the area's coastal headlands for wonderful views, sheltered coves and snorkelling. For families looking for activities beyond the pool and the beaches, there is a Safari Park, Terra Mitica Theme Park and Aqualandia Water Park, all within 30-45 minutes drive. For golfers, there's a rich selection of quality courses nearby including the renowned Club La Sella less than 10 minutes drive away, plus clubs at Javea, Oliva and Calpe. For tennis there's Denia Tennis Club. Try horse-riding or biking through the surrounding orange groves. And of course there are all the beach sports to hand: volleyball, jet skis, diving, boating, surfing, windsurfing and quad biking. Just let us know about anything else and we'll locate it for you
Restaurants, Bars & Fiestas There are literally hundreds of restaurants and bars in and around Denia, ranging from very exclusive ones, to excellent good-value establishments, to traditional tapas bars, to those suitable for families located right on the beach. We've devoted a section of our manual to help our guests during their stay. Denia's claim to fame is having the most fiestas in Spain. We hope you'll be lucky to catch one, whether its bull-running or one of the Denia's many processions along the town's main streets. Check with the Tourist Information Office.
Buscarro's Grounds Our extensive tropical gardens and unique pool provide a setting that is very special for a rental property. Children love exploring the grounds, finding dens and hiding places. There is even a tree house. The grounds are watered 3/4 times a week by sprinklers and water pipes to keep them lush in the Spanish sunshine. At different times of the year you may be able to pick fresh from the trees: almonds, figs, olives, pomegranates, clementines, and of course oranges and lemons for home-made orangeade and lemonade. There is electric gate entry into the grounds and a shady parking area for a number of vehicles. Families with small children will find the property secure. The studio apartment has its own entrance and is located above the main house. Off the casita is a courtyard filled with bourgainvillea and other colourful succulents. From here there are spiral stairs to the rooftop terrace and wonderful views. In the evening there is attractive lighting to the pool and across the grounds.
