horse riding opportunities Near the house is the horse farm 'Polarhestar' with more than 100 horses. You can rent them only for a few hours or take part at a longer ride in the nearby valleys.

Skiing Information: During winter there are opportunities to buy rides to the nearby Kaldbakkur with a big snowmobile. In Akureyri is a classical ski area with lifts and illuminated slopes.

Golf Information: A small golf course (9 holes) is near the house in Grenivik 8 kilometers to the north.
