Situated on a natural terrace, the Villa overlooks an evocative hills cape whose colors and moods change with the seasons. The pure air at more than 1600 feet above sea level and the Mediterranean Maquis that extends as far as the eye can see mean cool summers and bracing winters (wich are most pleasantly spent next to a crackling fire, a glass of wine and a bowl of chestnuts at hand). The Polle di Meletro Villa is named for the nearby natural springs. The entire Chianni area, in fact, is famous for its sulfur-rich 'thermal baths' (or its 'health waters', as they are more commonly known) and the Villa and its seventeen surrounding hectares are located in a rural area that has for centuries been home to olive groves and chestnut orchards. Completely restored in 2008.

Welcome: Upon your arrival, the villa’s professional staff is at your disposal. Our personnel have an excellent command of both English and German. During high season, reservations are accepted for stays of no less than one week (Saturday to Saturday). Each apartment is furnished with telephone, satellite TV, independent heating, and hair dryer. The apartments are equipped with linens and towels, including large towels for use at the swimming pool. Each kitchen comes complete with stove, refrigerator, small freezer, American-style coffee maker, hot pot, toaster, plates and flatware for six, pots and pans, and assorted kitchen accessories. Single/children’s beds available upon request. The apartments share the following services: Outdoor swimming pool (23x59 feet) with panoramic view.
