Emerald Island Resort is a prestigious gated community in prime location for all the attractions of the Disney areas. Set amongst acres of lush conservation area and national forest yet just a short drive to the Disney parks and all the fun attractions on Highway 192 including Old Town and shopping outlets. Restaurants and supermarket are close by and the area is served by Orlando International and Sanford airports. Visit Kennedy Space Centre, Cocoa beach on East Coast, or Busch Gardens and Gulf beaches - all within easy driving distance. Fantastic shopping at the cut price outlets, air boat rides at Boggy Creek, mini golf and Ripley's museum on International Drive, water parks galore - oh and what about the theme parks? It isn't just about Mickey Mouse - there's Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure, visit Shamu at Sea world and even swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove! We are happy to welcome children to our villa - please ask if you require cot and highchair provision. The ground floor master bedroom is particularly suited to those not wishing to use the stairs. The ground floor bathroom has full bath and overhead shower, toilet and sink and is situated next to the bedroom. This is also ideal for use as a pool bath, as the door leads out onto the pool deck. Emerald Island resort is a gated community with security allowing only guests access. The clubhouse operates a concierge service 8-10pm. The community pool, gym, tennis/volleyball courts, park area and all other facilities are for use by guests only. Wireless Internet in clubhouse lounge. Computer suite for guests use at clubhouse. **Free wireless broadband access for guests bringing laptop computers to the villa and free local and international phone calls**
