It is located in a very good position between sea (20 min. drive) and muntains, the Alpi Apuane where Michelangelo took his marble pieces. To Florence is only 50 min. drive and to Pisa 20 min. Lucca is a small city but has a big range of cultural attractions. This year, for example, is dedicated to Puccini (the centenary) and its opers.
