Brief Description: This three bedroom home has four levels, plus an outdoor deck on the top level - all in all, 1500 square feet, and 50 feet tall! The home sits on a a beautiful fourteen acres in the Paradise Valley, between Livingston and Yellowstone Park. The property adjoins a strip of State Land along the Yellowstone River. Guests can walk out the back door and go fishing before breakfast!

Bedrooms and baths: The home has two bedrooms on the entry level. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other has a queen size bed. There is a shared full bathroom out in the hall. Down the stairs (almost a ladder!), you will find the third bedroom on the home's first level. This bedroom has a queen size bed, doors out to a private deck area, and a private full bathroom.

Living room: On the third level of the home, is the comfortable living area, with plenty of sofas and chairs for an evening gathering or movie watching session. The entertainment system in the home includes television, vcr, dvd, satellite, and a stereo system. A woodstove in the corner of the living room adds to the evening atmosphere.

Kitchen: Head up one more level to the kitchen and dining area. A fully equipped kitchen is ready for the chef of your group to prepare whatever meal they have in mind. There is a small table in the kitchen area, plus a couple of chairs at the counter. Or, the feast may just need to get carried up one more level to dine on the amazing "top-deck" of the home!

The Barn Studio: There is a studio style apartment with a full bathroom on the second level of the barn - just 50 yards or so from the main house. The studio has a mini kitchen set-up, dining area, futon couch and a queen size bed. The bathroom is set up with a jacuzzi spa tub.

Setting, acreage, views: View Silo Home is on fourteen acres in the wide open Paradise Valley. To the west, the home looks out over the Yellowstone River, and to the east are unrivaled views of the rugged Absaroka Mountain range.

Services available: The rental rate includes a weekly cleaning. Additional housekeeping, as well as catering services, and grocery shopping, can be arranged with a bit of prior notice.

Activities nearby: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing out the back door, horseback riding, golf, skiing, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the towns of Livingston, Gardiner and Bozeman have to offer.

Closest town and airport: It's about 15 miles to Livingston, 40 miles to Bozeman and a one hour drive to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport.

Other details: No smoking is allowed in the home. No pets are allowed on the property or in the home without prior written approval from Mountain Home. The home has a private phone, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, and include good quality kitchen, bath and bed linens, and staples like paper goods, laundry, dish and hand soaps.
