St. Remy is a typical village with galleries and artists in the heart of the Provence with an exceptional flair and a great history. Nostradamus was born in the village and Vincent Van Gogh has painted many wonderful pictures in this village. It is a good place for making visits in the Camargue and to the important village of the gitans: les Saintes Maries de la mer. It is also a good place for visiting the towns Arles, Avignon, Nimes, Aix en Pprovence and Marseille. In St. Remy are many good restaurants and the house is so situated, that people don’t need a car.
