The apartments are located on the sea front of Ortigia, historical centre of Syracuse, which is listed by 'UNESCO' among the world most important architectural and archeological sites. The apartments are in an old palace, facing the open sea where the old Fort Vigliena is located, surrounded by some beautiful rocks. They have been recently renovated using traditional materials and they are fully equipped with air conditioning, fan, heating. The weekly rental fee includes water, electricity, cooking-gas, bed linen, towels and final cleaning.

The apartment is in an old palace facing the open sea and it has a spectaculare view on the sea. The walkable surface is 60 sqm. and it is so done: on the groundfloor there is the kitchen-dining area, one bedroom with two single beds or double bed, and the bathroom with shower. On the intermediate-floor there is the double bedroom and the second bathroom. Then a sitting area with a double bed-sofa.

Ortigia is an island with architectural masterpieces dating from the Greek times on, at the center of a magnificent bay with cliffs and beaches, the natural park of 'Plemmirio'. The nearby area is rich of archeological, historical sites and natural parks. In Siracuse there is the Greek and Roman archeological site with a still performing theatre. Going west there is Pantalica, a necropolis of the bronze age, located on impressive canyons, and Palazzolo, the inland Greek outpost. To the south there is the 'barocco capital' of Noto, with its magnificient urban views, and the natural park of 'Vendicari', facing the sea, where the natural environment is still untouched. Sea resorts are in 'Fontane Bianche' and 'Arenella', they can be also reached by bus. Main cultural events: in Spring the 'classical Greek thetre' and in Summer the 'Ortigia festival'.
