The apartment, recently fully renovated and refurbished to a smart and high spec is on the second floor of a unique period house. The famous Oyster festival is early September, and in June 2009 host a fabulous 2-week Volvo Ocean Race stopover. Galway offers the best of two worlds: its lively town centre with many watercourses where you can watch the River Corrib tumble into the Atlantic Ocean or enjoy the canal-side walks; sail on Galway Bay; or simply walk the prom to catch the refreshing sea air. In town & Salthill there are an abundance of restaurants, cafes, traditional bars and walking streets - just to stroll around is to enjoy the outdoors and ambiance. The apartment is in an ideal location for quick and easy access to both worlds, and to help you get settled in we provide a generous Welcome Basket of groceries.
