    Final payment is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
    For holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving and Easter) must be paid in full.
  • Every reservation made within 60 days prior to the arrival must be paid in full.
    There will be a confirmation form sent to you, concerning your reservation and receipts for all payments.
    Cancellation Penalties:
    Cancellations 30 days prior to arrival: forfeit 50% of deposit.
    Cancellations within 30 days prior to arrival : forfeit 100% of payment.
    No refunds due to hurricanes or any other natural disaster.

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS There are numerous Mayan Ruins nearby our Condo including Tulum, only 15 miles away, Coba (25 miles), and Chitzen Itza, a long day's trip via the new Tulum road. There are many shopping options, including charming shops in Akumal, shops near Akumal at the Hacienda, in Puerta Aventuras, and extensive options in Playa del Carmen (22 miles). Playa is a large town with great shopping, great restaurants, and night life. From here board a boat for an all day trip to Cozumel, another great spot for diving, snorkeling, and deep sea fishing. Playacar (21 miles away) is a Resort development with an 18 hole golf course, tennis and swimming. Puerto Aventuras (ten miles away) offers tennis, golf, swim with the dolphins, and restaurants.

ACTIVITIES (on site or nearby): Walk directly out of the condo for excellent snorkeling or take a short walk to the famous Yal-ku Lagoon renown for snorkeling in calm waters. Other gorgeous natural attractions centered around water include 2 dive shops, numerous cenotes and beaches nearby. Akumal has a well equipped air conditioned fitness gym, yoga classes and massage. Xel-Ha (10 miles) is a wonderful snorkeling park, & Xcaret (18 miles) has water sports, snorkeling, Mayan culture & history, both with swim with the dolphins programs. Deep sea fishing, beach horseback riding, golf & tennis and bike rentals are available nearby. The Sian Ka'an Biosphere, south of Tulum,. Mayan Ruins nearby including Tulum, (15 miles), Coba (25 miles), Chitzen Itza, a long day trip via the new Tulum road provide opportunities for full day excursions. Shopping options include the charming shops in & near Akumal, and extensive options in Playa del Carmen (22 miles), a large town with great shopping & restaurants & night life.

AKUMAL AND SURROUNDINGS Akumal has two mini-supermarkets, with a good selection of American products. A small market suitable for last minute items, is just a minute walk from the condo. Several large American-style supermarkets are nearby in Playa del Carmen. Laundry service is available in Akumal as are local cooks to prepare regional cuisine right in your kitchen. Ask at the front desk. The Maya Riviera is replete with gorgeous natural attractions centered around water. Akumal has three dive shops and excellent snorkeling and swimming are right out the door in Half Moon Bay, in Akumal Bay, or in Yal-ku Lagoon. Numerous cenotes and beaches all within 12 miles of Akumal include Tankah, Aktun Chen Caves, Xpu-Ha, Paradise and Dos Ojos. Xel-Ha (10 miles away) is a wonderful snorkeling park and Xcaret (18 miles) combines water sports, snorkeling, Mayan culture, and history. Both have swim with the dolphins programs. Other area sports include deep sea fishing, beach horseback riding, golf, and tennis.
