Walk around the corner to check if the Royal Standard is flying ‘this means the Queen is at home’ Our apartment at “Albany Court” is in a small block of 12 exclusive residential apartments; Part of the building designed by Charles Holden and featuring statues and carved stone panels including ones by Sir Jacob Epstein, Eric Gill, and Henry Moore. Easy Access to the Best of London IDEAL FOR VISITORS WHO WANT EASY ACCESS TO THE BEST OF LONDON Next to the Royal Residence of Buckingham Palace, Opposite St James Park Its Central London, no need for a car you will be central to many world famous sites. If you want to travel beyond walking distance from the apartment then there is the underground next door, this will take you around London and beyond, a few stops on the tube leads you to: The Tower of London, The Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Madam Tussaud's, London Eye, London Aquarium, Kew Gardens, Victoria Railway & Coach station is nearby and takes you to Windsor Castle, Brighton etc. Westminster Abbey is around the corner and is the ceremonial site of almost every British coronation from William the Conqueror in 1066 to Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Monarchs buried here include Henry VII, Elizabeth I, and Mary, Queen of Scots. Nearby is the Tomb to the Unknown Warrior and Poet's Corner, the resting place of Chaucer, Robert Browning
