Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • A 10% deposit is required at time of booking.Bookings can be cancelled up to 3 months prior to arrival by either party at no cost and full deposit refund. Within 3 months of arrival the deposit becomes non refundable on cancellation. 4 weeks prior to arrival the remainder of the hire cost plus £600 security must be paid. Cancellation between four and two weeks is subject to a 75% cancellation fee of the total booking value. Cancellations within two weeks of arrival are subject to 100% cancellation fee of the total booking value leaving only the £600 deposit for refund.

    Note we expect the house to be left clean and tidy as only superficial cleaning costs are included in hire price (such as cleaning bathrooms and linen). A dirty house will incur an additional cleaning cost as will any stubborn stains or breakages etc.

    The security of £600 is refunded 5 days after departure following a satisfactory inspection of the property. Up till now all securities have been fully refunded.

Notes:

There are two reception rooms (The Yelllow Reception Room and The Library). The kitchen diner is huge measuring 15m in length with a large central island making cooking a communal affair. The kitchen is stocked with an american style fridge freezer, numerous cooking utensils, two microwaves, two electric ovens, 5 aga ovens, 2 aga hot ring plates and a 5 ring electric halogen hob. For rainy days there is a games room with billiards, table tennis and table football plus a entertainment room which has state of the art surround sound and cinema projection for the full film experience (Only to be operated by responsible persons) . The three master suites are very large in size and contain a sofa, plenty of wardrobe space and have large en-suite washing facilities with baths and separate showers. The four further bedrooms are at least double size rooms with their own en-suite toilets and showers. Bedrooms 5 and 6 share a bathroom.
