  • A deposit of 30% of the holiday cost is payable at the time of booking. The balance along with a security deposit of 150Euros is payable two months before the holiday start date. The security deposit will be returned once the house has been checked and the keys returned.No refund is payable within one month of the holiday start date and you are advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance. Change over is a Saturday. Other days may be possible by agreement. Guests are requested to arrive at any time after 4.00 pm. You will be sent the keys of the house along with detailed directions at least 2 weeks before the holiday start date. Departure time on the final day is 10. am.

  • Three large bedrooms 2 with staircases to galleried mezzanine lofts (each with 2 further single beds) which can be used for entertainment (TV, playstation, video and DVD ) The middle bedroom is a fixed double bed and the others can be made into 2 singles or double. The rooms are fitted with traditional Italian hand made solid wood furniture with plenty of storage and dressing space. All have beautiful views across the Val di Chiana towards Cortona and being North facing are cooler at night. The bedrooms have internal solid wooden shutters for blocking out the daylight and insect screens to allow them to be opened for ventilation.

Notes:

The well equipped kitchen (with the all important dishwasher) is larger than most and has a separate table for breakfast/preparation. The furniture is solid wood with marble tops. There are barbeque facilities outside and an electric 'foreman' grill when the weather is inclement. Access to the patio and garden is from both the kitchen and the lounge and the patio has a large teak table which will seat 8. It is a fine place to sit and watch the stars shine and the lights glimmer from Cortona, across the valley, with a glass of wine in the hand. The lounge has an open fireplace with settees and a comfy chair as well as 10 dining chairs. There are logs in the garden for your use. The house also has central heating. Mobile reception is fine. Internet cafes are in nearby Camucia (5kms)The shared pool is subject to the condominium rules.The local area has many varied restaurnts from pizza to haute cuisine however the local supermarket and fresh food shops are excellent for eating in.
