La Lune has a beautiful living area with a log burning fire , 3 seater sofa and two comfy armchairs. The kitchenette containing gas cooker, microwave and fridge comes fully equipped with all your cooking requirements and a cafeteria. There is a dining table with 4 chairs. The bedrooms are centrally heated during the winter months. There is a bookshelf with a variety of reading and books and lealets about the local area.Satellite TV, DVD and wired internet access. Highchair, cot, stairgate and children's toys are available on request. Linen tea towels and towels are provided. Welcome pack on arrival with essentials including home-made jam, milk, tea, sugar, coffee and of course a bottle of wine. Freshly cooked food can be ordered from our local Indian takeaway 5 minutes away with a children's menu on request.

  • Notes to the rental rates

    * A deposit of £100 is required and a security deposit of £100 payable in advance which will be refunded to you within ten days of the end of your stay and from which will be deducted the cost of any breakage or loss. The remaining balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your stay.
    * It is a requirement that guests leave the accommodation in the state of cleanliness that they found on their arrival. A maid service is available for cleaning at the end of your stay at the cost of 50 euros if requested. Linen towels and tea towels are changed once a week and a reduction of 5% is made if you wish to bring your own bedding and towels.
    * The cottages are available all year round. Winter lets (October to end of April) include wood. Wood can be purchased for use in the woodburner at other times of the year.
    All lets of 4 days or more are inclusive of bed linen and towels. For shorter lets bed linen and towels can be provided for 8 euros per person.

Local Attractions and Facilities Set in the heart of the Brittany countryside this is a perfect location for cycling and walking and with all the sights on offer you will be spoilt for choice. The cottage has the added advantage of being only 25 minutes drive from the famous Mont St Michel , a jewel of Gothic architecture. The stunning coastline of the Emerald coast stretches to Dinard and is marked by alternating jagged cliffs and soft sandy beaches. It was here well before this part of Brittany was discovered by tourists that Renoir and other artists were inspired by its beauty.You can take unusual walks through lovely countryside scattered with magnificent churches and chapels each full of treasures and wonderful stained glass windows. For those interested in the legends of King Arthur and the romances of the Round table the the legendary forest of Broceliande must be visited. St Malo, Fougeres with its stunning castle and views, Dinan are all fine examples of beautiful medieval towns -all a short drive away.

Other Attractions For golf enthusiasts there are at least 4 golf courses within a 40 minutes drive. There are different markets everyday in nearby towns and some fabulous restaurants. Cancale famous for its oysters is a must for lovers of seafood. 10 minutes away is the lovely forest and Lake of Villecartier. This is a superb location for walking and cycling and has excellent facilities for children including boat and pony rides in season. Other attractions for children include the fabulous Aquarium in St Malo, Aligatoor Bay near Pontorson and two waterparks within 40 minutes drive. Rennes the departmental capital of this region of Ille et Vilaine is one of the liveliest towns in France, interesting architecture and a dynamic cultural scene. Around the cathedral, narrow streets wind between timber framed houses that conceal courtyards. On Saturdays, the Places des Lices throngs with the colourful stalls of one of the livliest markets of Brittany.

Golf Information: There are several good golf courses within a 40 minute drive, these include Des Ormes (Dol de Bretagne), Le Tronchet ( St,. Malo), Granville and Le Fresloniere (Rennes).
