The Wasatch State Park golf course, just 5 minutes away, is annually voted among the top 100 in America for quality and affordability. The State Park also has a stocked trout pond, free to children under 14 (limit of four trout/day). Other world-renowned Utah ski resorts, such as Park City, the heart of the 2002 Winter Olympics, and the Canyons and Sundance resorts, can be reached in 25-30 minutes. Soldier Hollow, located in the Heber Valley and considered one of the very best cross country ski venues in America, is located just 3 miles away. Tired of skiing? Try snowmobiling at Wasatch Mountain State Park, with hundreds of miles of trails! The new Zermatt Resort, where this property is located, has recently won 'Best in State' awards for its hotel, resort and restaurant facilities.

Golf in the beautiful Heber valley. Located just across the street is the Homestead Resorts 18-hole championship golf course. Only minutes away you will find the magnificent Wasatch Mountain State Park, with spectacular mountain views and an 18-hole, USGA-sanctioned golf course (with very reasonable rates!). All new Solider Hollow courses also nearby. If you don't mind driving 45 minutes, you can also play numerous courses in the Salt Lake City area! In April it is often possible to ski AND play golf! Don't like to golf or ski? Try scuba diving (yes, scuba diving) in a hot thermal spring, located just across the street at the Homestead!

Bike, hike or fish Wasatch County. Wasatch County boasts over 1,000 miles of bike trails through varying terrain. The Wasatch Mountain State park has miles and miles of hiking trails with beautiful vistas. There is something for everyone here! Don't like biking or hiking? The pristine quality trout waters of the Provo River are located only 5 minutes away from your vacation hideout. For those wishing to venture farther out, the magnificent Zion, Bryce and Arches National Parks are 4-5 hours away by car.
