Lake/River House in New Braunfels City Limits! Swim, fish, ski or tube right here! Modern Lake home, built in 2003, wood floors and nicely furnished…this is not your typical vacation rental! Upstairs has 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, open living-dining area with lots of room to entertain, central A/H, ceiling fans, full kitchen complete with dishes & utensils, covered deck with dining table and chairs. Master Bedroom has king-sized bed with private bath and cable TV w/ movie channels, the second room has 6 single beds bunk style. The third room has a queen bed. Living room has two couches and a big screen TV, DVD and cable w/ movie channels. The lookout room has 2 futons that make into full-size beds. Dining table seats 6-10. Laundry room with washer & dryer are also upstairs. The lower level of the house is made for entertaining: Shoot Pool, throw darts, play ping-pong, or throw washers while cooking steaks on the grill. There is a full bathroom on the lower level.

Amenities & Activities Seating for up to 25 people is available down stairs with picnic tables, folding tables and chairs. Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove with self-cleaning oven, vent hood, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, blender, 2 TVs with cable service, 1 DVDs, ceiling fans, air conditioning, laundry room w/washing machine, dryer, pool table with ping pong table top, dart board. Boat house and boat slip available. Swimming, boating, water and jet-skiing, tubing, rafting, snorkeling, hiking, fishing, birding, golfing, visiting Schlitterbahn water park, antiquing, shopping New Braunfels & San Marcos & nearby market days, country dancing at Gruene, or my personal favorite is to float the Comal river all the way to the house. This adds an extra two hours to the float.

Location 20 miles to San Antonio, with Intl Airport, Alamo, Sea World, Fiesta Texas, River Walk, San Antonio Zoo, shops, dining, movies, golfing; less than 1 mile to pretty historic New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn, Gruene, parks, shops, dining, movies; San Marcos outlet malls are 13 miles away; Austin, Capitol of Texas, 45 miles away. 17 miles to Wimberley. 212 Rio Dr. is the very first house on Lake Dunlap...what does that mean to you? The lake house is inside the New Braunfels city limits, only a few minutes from restaurants, food and fun! A brief distance upstream the Comal and Guadalupe rivers combine to form Lake Dunlap. Enjoy an extended float down the Comal River and end up at the Lake house. Total float time is approximately 3.5 hours.
