  • Housekeeping: Initial cleaning is done prior to your arrival and is included in the rental charge. There is a phone for your convenience and local calls are free. The unit includes linens. There is a microwave, washer/dryer, coffeemaker, VCR, DVD, board games, iron and ironing board, and blow dryer. Please enjoy these as you would your own. And most importantly, keep in mind there is No Smoking in or around this unit.

    Reservations: We require an advance deposit of $500 within 14 days and notification of the exact dates of your arrival and departure, and how many people in your party. This will confirm your reservation. Once confirmation is made, your balance is due 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. The deposit also serves as a damage deposit and will be returned within 7 days of departure.

    Cancellation: Your deposit is refundable if cancellation notice is given 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. Otherwise no refunds of deposit or prepaid rent can be returned.

Resort features include 3 Swimming Pools (1 adults only), 2 Lighted Tennis Courts, 3 Outdoor Hot Tubs and 3 Gas BBQ areas, and Covered Parking. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, on the condo grounds, at 'Kanaloa Bar & Grill,' one of the finest restaurants on the Big Island. At the water's edge you can enjoy superb cuisine and spectacular sunsets while listening to the surf at the oceanfront. There are 2 Spacious Bedrooms - a Master Suite with a King size bed and deluxe bath/private hot tub, a second bedroom also furnished with a KING size bed, plus a Loft with 2 twin beds. All linens are furnished. Included are 2 large full baths, a fully equipped Koa-wood Kitchen, Dishwasher, Jenn Aire Range, Microwave, Washer, Dryer, TV, and VCR & DVD. There is a coffee maker for brewing some world-famous Kona Coffee. Large Oceanfront lanai is equipped with a Wet Bar, table for 6, and reclining lawn chairs.

Solitude has a small 'Nautical' Library which includes reef guides, oceanography & sailing books, sea stories, Hawaiian lore and history, and lots of Big Island guidebooks. There is also a substantial collection of Videos and DVDs for your use. For the Beach & Outdoors, Calypso has Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, Boogie Boards, Snorkel Equipment, Tennis Rackets and Ice Chests.
