    We charge a flat rate of $1,323.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $2,786.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.
  • All rates quoted are based upon two (2) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay.

    Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights.

    Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights.

    Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

    Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over two (2) person occupancy up to a maximum of four (4) people, including children over 1 year of age.

    One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservation system.

    Add a one-time, non-refundable, $80.00 cleaning fee to all reservations.

  • This is a studio rental, so there is no separate bedroom, however there are wrap around ocean views from the Ehu Kai. The surf is just 15 feet away! There is a queen size bed with pillow-top mattress - and you can enjoy wrap around ocean views inside your bed. The suite has mini-split air conditioning and tropical ceiling fans, although they are rarely needed as the Ehu Kai has wonderful ocean breezes year round.

More about Hale Ko'olau We have owned and operated these properties for two generations. We have operated as Hale Koolau LLC for nearly a decade, however prior to this change of entity we operated the business as sole proprietors, accommodating thousands of guests over the years. We are a member of the Better Business Bureau of Hawaii with an A+ rating, member of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, and have an 'excellent' rating on TripAdvisor. Guests who stay with us get more than just a place to sleep at night, they get their own beach house on the North Shore of Oahu. We have 450 linear feet of oceanfront property giving our guests plenty of room to lounge in the sun while being cooled down by the gentle breezes of the South Pacific Ocean. We also have four hot tubs on the property plus kayaks, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and complimentary high-speed internet.

NO HIDDEN FEES!! Why spend money at a hotel where they charge you for every little item you use? Here at Hale Koolau: Forget minibar charges; we have full kitchens in each unit for your convenient use. Parking fees? Not from us.
