Casa Mono Congo is a handicapped accessible, wind & solar powered, modern 4-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom, 3-level, 3,500 square foot vacation home built with the local wildlife and you in mind. The home is nestled in the jungle with visits from three types of monkeys, sloth, lizards, iguanas, birds, butterflies and other exotic wildlife. In our villa, you have an ocean view that is unobstructed with no other homes between you and your ocean view. Our terrace offers beautiful views of jungle, ocean and sky, nothing more. The tin roofs of Quepos or other rental homes are not what you want to see during your vacation. Our pool and terrace areas are private, allowing you to enjoy time with family and friends without passersby invading your privacy. Many of the villa pools are built directly next to the road or public walkways. Our terrace is large and secluded and one would need to trespass to see you.

Casa Mono Congo Details Let’s be honest… choosing a vacation home online with only photos and a bit of narrative is a daunting task. Many of the homes in Manuel Antonio are suitable for your vacation. We are biased and believe you have found the right home for you so instead here is a bit about our experience in Costa Rica. We first visited Costa Rica Christmas 1997. We immediately fell in love with the country, its people and of course, its climate. Having traveled around the world, seldom had we returned to the same location but that was to change. We visited Manuel Antonio each year for Christmas from 1998 to 2000. In 2000 we purchased our first home and in 2005 we built our 2nd home and decided to share the homes with other visitors so they could also experience the wildlife and magic of Costa Rica. We live in the mountains and visit our beach homes when they are available. We hope you select our home and experience a portion of what we enjoy here in Costa Rica.

Amenities The howler monkeys sleep in the trees above our home. No extra charge! The common areas include a social area with a 42'' plasma flat screen television and a dining area that seats 8 people comfortably. The 3rd floor includes a covered terrace with bar area with mini-fridge and ice machine. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or be served meals by our outstanding cook. In addition to the 4 bedrooms, our home has 2 sofas that convert to large twin beds and we also will provide an additional bed (Queen size Aero-Bed) for the master bedroom suite if the number of guests is 11-12. The maximum number of guests allowed is 12. The main floor terrace includes a 27' x 9' pool and room to relax in the sun or shade. You will be hidden away in our lushly landscaped property and enjoy total privacy as you listen to the Pacific Ocean and jungle sounds. Use the BBQ gas grill to prepare dinner or ask us to bring in a cook for a reasonable fee.

All Inclusive Package Daily maid service (Mon-Sat) is provided and a multi-lingual villa manager is available to welcome you, assist you with tour planning or meet any of your needs. Washer and Dryer are provided. Casa Mono Congo is located on a private side road but near restaurants, beautiful beaches, shopping and nightlife. We offer our All Inclusive Package as an alternative that provides you with a carefree vacation. We bill you in three easy payments on your credit card and you enjoy a vacation without the hassle of dealing with cash transactions at every turn. Guest Book --Wow! Our days began with beautiful sunrises and coffee on the deck followed by days filled with fun and adventure with our 4 teenagers. There were no “I’m bored” comments which is a miracle unto itself! (Mar 07) --I have to start before we arrived. Pete and Terry worked with us over the phone and Internet. We felt “taken care of” from this point forward. (Feb 07) --I know now that I truly have found heaven on this earth. This country, town and house are unbelievable. Waking up early every morning and sitting on the upper deck in silence was my favorite part. The sounds of the jungle are all the music that is needed. (Dec 06) --We were received by the entire community of Howler monkeys, which set the pace for all the excitement we were to experience. (Jun 06) --Grandma, age 77, enjoyed the adventure as well as our 11 year old daughter who was delighted in the sloths hanging about, birds, lizards, frogs, butterflies & the plants all about us.
