Castaway is a spacious 3 bedroom, 1 den, 2 bath home decorated in the tropical island style with all the amenities of home. The main living area of the home has an open relaxed airy feeling with high ceilings, paddle fans and 2 large sliding glass doors that open to the extensive deck. Eleuthera is one the Out Islands of the Bahamas. The island is a 1 hour flight from Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA). Another option is from Nassau (NAS), a 20 minute flight. Most guests fly into Governor's Harbour Airport (GHB). Double Bay is located near the center of Eleuthera on the Atlantic side. It is between the towns of Governor's Harbour and Savannah Sound. Double Bay is a gorgeous quiet pink sand beach where you can swim and snorkel in the clear turquoise waters right in front of the home. There are many colorful quaint towns and villages to visit near by such as Palmetto Point, Governors Harbour, Savannah Sound, Rock Sound, Tarpum Bay, Gregory Town and Harbour Island. If you are adventurous there are many great beaches to visit and explore. If you are looking for crowded beaches, large resorts and hotels, casinos and nightclubs, then Eleuthera is not for you. There are 2 master bedrooms, each with sliding glass doors that open to their own section of the deck where you will enjoy the gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean. A third bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds each with a single on top and a standard on bottom. The den has a queen sofa sleeper.
