Relax and enjoy your own 'Piece of Paradise'. A wonderful log cabin set at an elevation of 2800' surrounded by 9 acres of nature and woods yet only a stones throw to everything. Beautifully decorated in country cabin style with 3 bedrooms and extra sleeping space in game room area. The master bedroom boasts a viewing balcony and bathroom with claw foot tub for soaking your cares away. At night gather around the stone patio and outdoor fireplace to roast marshmallows or hot dogs and watch the lightning bugs light up the skies. After a day of hiking, rafting or tubing you can sit in the hot tub on the deck surrounding the cabin and listen to the noisy creek directly below you. Unwind in the porch swing or rocking chairs while watching the hummingbirds buzz ever so closely to your seat. Come and find the peace and serenity of the Smoky Mountains. Bryson City is located only 10 minutes north of ' A Creek n Cabin' . Visit the quaint town and take a ride on the Smoky Mountain Railroad Train located directly in downtown Byrson City. Nantahala Gorge is within 15 minutes (southwest) for whitewater rafting and hiking the Appalachian Trail. Tubing at Deep Creek is just outside of Bryson City and is a great value for an all day outing you and your kids will love! For short excursions visit one of the waterfalls nearby and enjoy a picnic lunch after a short hike to the falls. The Cherokee Indian reservation is a short 25 minute drive where you will find amusement games and rides, shopping and the Indian Museum, shows and zoo. Also in Cherokee for those that love the night life, is Harrah's Casino. Lake Fontana is only minutes away where you can rent a boat for a few hours or the day for fishing or just to enjoy the scenery. For a full day excursion visit the Biltmore Estate in Asheville 60 miles away.

Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials and more, washer and dryer, hot tub, satellite TV, DVD and VCR, DVD and VCR movies, internet connection, outdoor fireplace on rock patio, charcoal grill, wood-burning stove, claw foot tub, rockers and porch swing, air hockey table and games in game room, local calls included.

Activities: Whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, gem mining, tubing, golfing, horseback riding, gem mining, Smoky Mountain Railroad tours, trout fishing, boating and swimming.

Area: Private wooded setting on 9 acres. 15 minutes from Nantahala Outdoor Center and Appalachian Trail for whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, tubing and horseback riding. 10 minutes to grocery store, restaurants, antiquing or shops in Bryson City. 20 minutes to Harrah's Casino and Cherokee Indian Reservation. One hour to Asheville and Biltmore Estate.
