Even during peak months throughout the year there is never a lack of space or the crowded feeling experienced at other popular coastal communities. Due to Sunset Beach’s less crowded track record it has become a favorite for everything from families swimming and surfing in just the perfect surf to the more serene pursuits of wading in tide pools and bird watching.

Shopping and Dining Enthusiasts: No vacation would be complete without a variety of shopping and the absence of cooking and dirty dishes. Minutes from Sandpiper Bay are an array of quality and fun restaurants offering everything from fresh Atlantic seafood to traditional North American dining. Surrounding Sunset Beach, just minutes from your vacation home, are fine dining experiences to be had on Ocean Isle, Calabash or drive ten minutes further into North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand where restaurants and the possibilities and options to shop are inexhaustible.
