Florence apartment Rental Property Information

This very spacious elegant, magnificent, 200 square meter(2100sqft) apartment is located in the first floor of a 17th century building in the historical centre of Florence. It is composed of a 15 square meter entrance hallway which leads you into a magnificent painstakingly decorated 60 square meter(620sqft) living room dining room with ethnic combined with traditional Florentine furniture, at the same time maintaining a relaxed and very homely atmosphere. There are four huge cathedral windows, 2.4 meters high with five metre ceilings which allows a lot of light into the room. Off this room gives way to a long passage that takes you to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The other bathroom is off the entrance hallway. The bedrooms are all very comfortable - one of which is en-suite and the master bedroom has a loft study above with a sofa bed.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • From 290 Euro/night and 1890euro/week
  • Rates are inclusive of all utilities
    (heating, electricity, gas for cooking)
    Three times a week cleaning for 3 hours each cleaning day. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required on booking and the balance inclusive of 100 euro final cleaning charge is required on arrival.
    There is a minimum of 4 nights stay, maid service, cook, baby sitting can be arranged on request at an additional cost, you can also request grocery shopping prior to arrival but at an additional cost.
    There are no credit card facilities, so payment can be made for deposit by bank transfer, western union transfer or a certified cheque or paypal and on arrival travellers cheque cash or bank draft.
    Rates do not include any damages caused by guest, so guests take full responsibility for any damage caused by them.

    All year round 1890 euro/week or 290 euro/night

Please bear in mind that the maid service is three times a week for 3hours every cleaning session. She comes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is inclusive in the rate but if you need extra maid service it can be arranged at a cost 10euro an hour and a mimimum of 3 hours every cleaning session. I can also arrange a cook on request and a driver and car all at extra charge.

There are three bathrooms of which one has a whirlpool tub while the other has a steam shower cabin with jet shower heads while the other has just a regular shower cabine. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern amenities including an American coffee peculator, food processor, microwave, double door refrigerator, dishwasher, as well as an oven and six gas burner. The utility room has a washing machine and a dryer. The location is superb, for you are in the Heart of Old Florence. You could not get more central than this. You are on via Ghibellina next to the Barghello National Museum and you are in front of the Palazzo Borghese the street is between the Doumo (main cathedral) and the Palazzo Vecchio (the old palace). You are completely immersed in florentine artand history because you are in the area of Santa Croce (another cathedral) and all the the most important sites and museums are within 100 metres radius from the apartment.

There are the shops, flee markets, and special traditional specialty food stores. The food market both San Lorenzo and Santa Ambrogio which are definitively a must. There are numerous restaurants and one of the most highly rated restaurant and wine cellars in Europe, the Enoteca Di Pinchiori it is a block and a half away from the apartment on the same via Ghibellina. So if you want to live Florence like an indigine and having all the comfort and advantages of being in the historical centre of town, then you are in the right location for this neighbourhood has maintained its passed neighbourhood atmosphere and has not been highly influenced by mass tourism.

It's just a stone throw from everything this old city has to offer from its art history culture to its food and wines to the shopping and its artisans and last but not the least its people the local Florentines. It is also a good base to stay in while you visit other important cities in Italy for Rome is only one and half hours by train, siena is 60km, Venice is two and half hours by train and not to mention the little historic towns in Tuscany, San Gimignano, Voltera, etc., are all 50km radius of Florence.
