Door County cottage Rental Property Information

The Fleetwing is a beautifully restored cottage that still retains the character of an early 1900's beach home. The cottage is on the shore of Garrett Bay, famous for its' sunrises & sunsets. There is an original stone fireplace, charming paned windows that give a water view from the kitchen, dining and living room. The interior has just been tastefully remodeled with a full modern bathroom and galley kitchen. Divers and snorkelers will be happy to know that the name of the cottage comes from the boat wreckage right off the shore of this property. Dive shops have long used this wreck for site-seeing excursions and now it is truly at your front door! The Fleetwing has an outdoor eating area for breakfast, lunch or dinners on a deck by the water. The Fleetwing is also near to Garrett Bay landing for launching of small boats, and also near Door Bluff Park for hiking and wildlife viewing. Nature surrounds this quaint, secluded cottage .

The Fleetwing is an historic beach cottage located on the shores of Garrett Bay in northern Door County. The charm of this cottage invites one to relax and rediscover the solitude of the woods and the many moods of the lake. Hiking, biking and boating are at their best from the Fleetwing which is on a quiet road and near to The Clearing and Door Bluff County Park. Yet a short drive away are all the attractions of Door County, including fine restaurants, live music and theatre events and shopping. Come and enjoy!

The bathroom has a full tub with shower. All linens and towels are supplied for you. There is a washer and dryer for your use as well. The outdoor eating area has a gas grill for your use and a wood deck overlooking Garrett Bay, perfect for early morning coffee or watching the sunset. The Fleetwing is a nature lover's delight with swimming right outside your front door and nature hikes along Garrett Bay Rd, or Door Bluff Park. You are also close to two of Wisconsin's most famous State Parks, Newport and Peninsula! Beaches and town parks dot the shoreline for your family's enjoyment.
