The house features a gabled tin roof which sound excellent in the rain! The upstairs kitchen features cherry wood cabinets, granite counters, under-counter sink, gas stove and electric convection oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and all the right equipment for a gourmet cook. Service is provided for 16 for family entertaining or a business retreat. The breakfast room features a vaulted ceiling and windows on three sides. It is the retreat to watch the waterfowl float by, to enjoy breakfast or to play cards. The upstairs features 3 large bedrooms and baths. Bedroom #1 features 2 queen beds and attached stone bath and granite counters. Bedroom #2 features a king size bed and sliding door to deck overlooking the deck, lawn and waterfront. The guest bathroom in the hall features tumbled stone shower and granite counters. Bedroom #3 features a king size bed, attached bath with shower and tub (for those who like to soak).

All bedrooms have closets and plenty of space to store belongings. There is a full size washer and dryer upstairs and another downstairs. A gradual flight of steps downstairs opens into another complete kitchen, living room, and dining room. The downstairs kitchen is light maple with granite counters, under-counter sink, gas stove with electric convection oven, compactor, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave. The downstairs is light colored with quartzite stone floors and oriental rugs. It has high ceilings, tall windows in every direction to benefit the great view of the yard and waterfront. The dining room features seating for 8 to 10. The living room has another gas fireplace and comfortable sectional sofa, seating for 12. Sliding doors open to the expansive patio with comfortable outdoor furniture for dining or lazing. The downstairs has two cheerful bedrooms. Bedroom #4 has a king size bed and attached bath. Bedroom #5 has matching twin beds.

It shares a large stone guest bath with shower. There is a full size washer and dryer located downstairs. All beds are new pillow-top with full linens, pillows and big fluffy towels. Stroll down the lawn to the boardwalk, dock and patio where you will find 4 person gliders, perfect for cocktail hour, reading a book, or enjoying a waterside meal. Two martin houses keep the yard virtually bug free. The entire yard is fenced for one dog. Stroll a short block to the quaint downtown for coffee, fine dining, art galleries, shopping. Or you are minutes away from award winning Lake Michigan's Oval Beach.

Skiing Information: Activities: 1 short block to two best restaurants, coffee shop, art galleries, shopping, minutes from two greatest Lake Michigan beaches in the dunes, next door to kayak and canoe rentals, great walking area, space for shallow draft boat tie-up with electricity, many, many outstanding restaurants in the two communities of Saugatuck/Douglas, theater productions in the summer, film festival in early June, art classes at Ox-Bow school of the Chicago Art Institute, shopping in downtown Saugatuck as well as Douglas, Chamber Music performances through the summer, and an ideal place to stroll with an ice cream cone on a summer evening.
