Casa Playa Blanca is located on the center of Flamingo Beach and is 1/2 mile from the town of Flamingo. You can easily stroll along the shore to have Breakfast, lunch or dinner or take a two minute drive along the quiet beach road to get your groceries, do your banking, nightlife, or boating excursion. Once in Flamingo, the road is paved and is your gateway to all other Guanacaste adventures. The little 'local' beach town of Brasalito is 5km away with more nice restaurants and is a real Tico village. Tamarindo is 20-30 minutes away and is a busy surf town with lots of shopping ,restaurants, bars and nightlife. From the beach, it's a 1hour drive to the cities of Liberia or Santa Cruz,11/2 hours to Buena Vista Lodge on Rincon de la Viejo volcano with waterslides, hot mud baths, thermal springs and much more,2-21/2 hours from the Nicaragua border and 4-41/2 hours to Arenal Volcano. Along with a variety of native hardwoods upstairs, you have a large deck overlooking Flamingo Beach and the Pacific Ocean with the sun setting over the water year round. The new downstairs renovation includes: A spacious poolside living room with entertainment center, an additional master bedroom, a large guest bathroom and shower, two new ocean facing bedrooms, teak ceilings through out, an office desk with computer and fast wireless Internet set up for allowing free long distance phone calls to anywhere as well as the use of your laptop wherever you like. To the outside we added a Full kitchen Pool Bar w/TV to enjoy your favorite snacks, meals, drinks, and games poolside. The new beautifully crafted stone faced wall was built for privacy while still leaving you an amazing Ocean view in addition to the new gated entrance and driveway.

The rest of the property has a nice grass backyard area, surrounded by tropical forest and is home to a variety of Costa Rican wildlife including: Howler Monkeys and many species of tropical birds, flora and fauna. Our Staff includes Evelyn as your house keeper (with a talent for pedicures and fantastic at making delicious Costa Rican dishes ) and Pablo ('Pagine') takes care of grounds keeping and cleans the pool each morning. They work Monday - Saturday. Evelyn takes care of your laundry in our laundry room located by the outside pool bathroom (5th bathroom). There is also a night guard 7 nights a week. We only rent to one group at a time. You will always have the property to yourself. At Casa Playa Blanca we can help you arrange everything from transportation needs, stocking the fridge and activities to personal massages at the house. Owner operated, we are dedicated to making your Costa Rica vacation relaxing, comfortable and memorable. Pura Vida!
