Shaver Lake cabin Rental Property Information

This newly built luxury cabin is situated in the Ockenden Ranch Development, Just 2 miles from Shaver Lake and the village of Shaver. The cabin is two stories, with a very warm cabinny ambiance with knotty pine floors & ceilings, knotty pine cabinetry and natural rock work. There are beautiful forest views through its window walls and from the front and back decks. Situated adjacent to open forest land, therefore affording privacy and beauty, the cabin also is close to the areas many outstanding attractions which make the Shaver Lake such a great family vacation area. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. The expansive master suite is upstairs with king bed, its own fireplace, separate sitting room (with trundle bed), walk-in closet, master bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower. Also upstairs there is a loft area with a big screen TV with plenty of comfortable seating.

Shaver Lake is a mountain lake community nestled in the high Sierra Nevada mountains of Central California. The lake has marinas, beaches, boat rentals, great fishing for trout or kokanee (landlocked salmon) A wonderful ski area of Huntington Lake is 30 minutes away and in the summer Huntingtonit is also very popular with sailors for its consistent winds. The area has virtually unlimited areas to explore and is uncrowded. There are many 4 wheel trails as well as hiking only trails for outdoor enthusiasts.

Rental Rates for the cabin in Gold Country / High Sierra, California, USA



Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $272-425/Night
  • 25% rental deposit to reserve dates, balance due 30 days prior to arrival date. Cleaning fee is $75.00. Damage deposit of $500.00 is 100% refundable less damage 2 weeks after departure date. Cancellation fee of $100.00 up to 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation fee of 25% for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival date. Payment may be made with check or credit card.

    June through August $2,100/week or $325/night with a 2 night min.
    September through May $1,900/week or $300/night with a 2 night min.
    Holiday -Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Weeks $2,500/week or $425 per night with a 4 night min.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other bedroom has a bunk bed (lower double with a single over). These two bedrooms share a bathroom. The large open common area of the cabin consists of a living room with a beautiful natural river rock fireplace that extends to the ceiling 20' high, a dining area with a large pine table with benches that seats 8, and the kitchen with pine cabinets, granite counters, high end appliances, fully outfitted and walk in pantry. Also downstairs is a washer/dryer. Both the front and rear decks extend the length of the cabin and afford beautiful views of the forest. There is plenty of seating and also a Weber barbeque.


Amenities:
Ockenden Resort has a tennis court and basketball hoop, there are numerous hiking paths through the forest or simply take a walk within the development and look at the many fine cabins, the town is very quaint and just a short two mile drive, there are restaurants, taverns, grocery store, churches, boat rentals, marina services, tackle shops etc, further up the road is the Sierra Summit Ski Resort with multiple chair lifts and is one of the most beautiful and uncrowded resorts.
